Updating contact information in your Plesk account

plesk, web-hosting

Plesk stores contact information for the customer account that owns subscriptions. Accurate details help administrators identify the responsible contact. They are separate from legal ownership records, domain-registration data and the contact information on your Nabtech billing account.

Prepare for the change

Prepare the current organization, contact name, address and phone details that your account requires. Only enter information you are authorized to maintain. Establish who should own the account when a staff member or contractor leaves.

01 Update contact information in your Plesk account

  1. Sign in to Plesk with the customer account whose details need changing.
  2. Open Account > My Profile, then the contact-details section if shown separately.
  3. Review the existing fields and change the relevant information. Use a complete telephone number with country code when the form requires it.
  4. Check the profile email separately because it may be used for recovery and notifications. Confirm that the named contact can actually access that address.
  5. Save the form and reopen it to verify the stored values. Update your internal ownership record and review independent Nabtech client-area and registrar records through their own interfaces.

How do I check the saved account contact details?

Confirm that the profile shows the correct person or organization and that required fields are complete. Updating contact information should not alter website content, mailbox addresses or subscription resource limits.

If the change does not work

If a field cannot be edited, it may be managed by the provider or linked identity system. Contact support through the authenticated client area and explain the requested correction. An ownership transfer may need a separate authorization process; changing a name in Plesk does not itself transfer the service. If you entered the wrong details, correct them from the same profile while retaining a record of the intended account owner.
