Our NabWP AI tools help you improve the content and settings that support a well-presented WordPress website in search. A useful built-in task is creating missing meta descriptions for published pages and posts.

01 Understand description coverage and plugin support
The current action handles up to 15 eligible items per run and inspects a limited set of published content. Check the reported result and review remaining pages separately, because completing one run does not establish coverage of your entire content library. Search engines may also choose different text when displaying a result.
The description workflow can work with supported SEO plugins, including Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress and All in One SEO. It writes into the supported description storage used by the detected plugin. Where no supported SEO plugin is present, the native tool can supply a description tag. This does not mean that every feature of those third-party plugins is included in your hosting plan.
02 Improve content and investigate technical concerns
Start by making the page itself useful and accurate. Give the AI the subject, intended audience and correct business details, then review the resulting description for relevance. Avoid repeating the same description on unrelated pages or filling it with keywords that do not reflect the content. Existing descriptions are not a reason to run a full website rebuild.
You can also ask the WordPress AI Engineer to investigate technical concerns such as broken permalinks, unexpected indexing settings or errors affecting a page. Describe the URL and what you have observed. Reviewing a recommendation before changing a live URL is especially useful because links and redirects may need attention.
03 Assess search visibility over time
We do not guarantee a specific ranking, traffic increase or indexing date. Search visibility also depends on your content, competition, external signals and how search engines evaluate the website. Use AI assistance to produce clearer content and resolve identifiable technical problems, then assess results over time using the appropriate reporting tools.
04 Example: review one missing SEO description before expanding coverage
Start with a real published page whose description is missing. For a fictional design studio’s brochure-design service, the proposed description below describes the page’s purpose without inventing pricing, rankings or delivery promises.
Page: https://example.com/services/brochure-design/
Draft description: Explore brochure design for your business, see our
working process and request a quote for your next print project.
Review the saved field in the detected supported SEO plugin, or the actual description output used by the native integration. Check that another plugin is not outputting a conflicting duplicate tag. The current native action handles up to 15 missing descriptions per run from a limited content scan, so track pages outside that selection separately.
Expected result: The description accurately matches the public page and appears in the intended metadata output. Completing a batch does not establish whole-site coverage or guarantee the text a search engine will display.
How do I check which pages received AI SEO descriptions?
- Choose SEO descriptions and review the eligible published content identified by the tool.
- After the run, inspect the actual saved descriptions and verify that they describe the correct pages.
- For a large content library, review pages outside the inspected set through the supported SEO plugin or another deliberate editorial process.
The current action works on up to 15 missing descriptions from a limited scan of published pages and posts. It is not an all-content audit, and running it once does not establish complete site coverage. Keep descriptions accurate; search engines may still show another snippet and no description guarantees a ranking.
