AI usage is connected to the processing needed to work on your request. Our Engineers may make several rounds of AI decisions as they inspect evidence, choose actions, review tool results, and decide what to do next. One message from you can therefore begin a multi-step investigation instead of a single isolated response.

01 Why a task can use several AI processing steps
For example, investigating a broken WordPress page may require reading an error log, inspecting a plugin or setting, proposing a change, and checking the page again after approval. A development task may also require reading existing code and revising an implementation after a test. These stages help produce a useful result, but they also mean that a completed job is not a fixed unit of AI usage.
Our free daily allowance and any purchased credit balance should be read through the usage information shown in your selected workspace. Paid AI processing can vary with the amount of information handled and the generated output. A short, focused diagnosis and a lengthy development session should not be assumed to consume the same amount. The daily offer does not guarantee that one credit equals one conversation or one completed fix.
02 Keep work focused and check any interruption
To use your allowance effectively, include the key facts in the opening request, keep the task focused, and ask the Engineer to avoid repeating checks without a reason. Request a clear summary when a task is paused so that the next step is easy to understand.
If a session stops, read whether it is waiting for approval, needs information, lacks a tool, or has reached its allowance. An interruption alone does not establish how much was charged or whether every part of the task failed. Check the workspace balance and ask us to investigate unexpected usage.
How does paid AI usage differ from free daily requests?
- Check whether the action is using the available free daily requests or the service's purchased credit balance.
- For paid work, allow the current operation to finish and settle before judging a temporary reservation as the final cost.
- Compare completed usage with the task history if a balance looks unexpected, and send the service reference and time to support.
Paid processing is metered from the information handled and generated output. A request can reserve estimated credit while running, then settle to recorded usage; unused reservation is returned. A failed request does not justify repeatedly purchasing packs without first checking the invoice, balance and task state.
