Continuing an AI task after the available credits run out

ai-engineer, account-help

If the Engineer reports that its available AI allowance is exhausted, read the latest progress and result messages before taking another action. Some investigation or changes may already have completed. Reaching a usage limit does not automatically reverse that work, and the original task may still need a final check or an additional step.

01 Record the current state of the task

First identify what was completed, what remains pending, and whether the website is functioning as expected. Use the last available summary and activity information to record the current state. If a live website is affected, avoid repeatedly starting the same change while its outcome is uncertain. Ask our support team for help if the interrupted work needs immediate attention.

02 Choose how to continue the work

Where additional AI credit purchases are enabled for your service, the workspace can show the available packs and purchase options. Review the actual credit quantity, price, currency, and payment information shown before ordering. Availability and prices come from your account's current offer; they should not be inferred from another customer's dashboard or an older promotion.

You may also wait for the next daily allowance renewal, or carry out a supported manual action through the management tools if you understand the required change. A remaining allowance is not a substitute for the permissions and features a task needs, so buying credits will not resolve an unavailable tool or expand the hosting account's technical limits.

03 Resolve a missing purchased credit balance

If you have paid for credits and the expected balance is not visible, check the invoice status and contact us with its reference. Do not make repeated purchases solely to force a refresh. Keep payment details and account passwords out of ordinary chat messages while we investigate.

04 Example: resume a paused investigation with the correct credits

A session pauses after inspecting a slow page because its available AI usage has run out. The activity record contains findings, but no approved repair has been applied yet.

  1. Keep the latest findings and confirm what work is still pending.
  2. On that same hosting service, open Get more AI credits if purchases are enabled.
  3. Choose an available pack and review its actual quantity, currency and payable total.
  4. Complete the offered payment process, wait for the associated invoice to show Paid, and check the service's purchased balance.

Resume the existing task from its latest completed step. Alternatively, wait for the next daily allowance if the work can wait.

Expected result: the intended service receives the credits and the investigation continues without an unnecessary duplicate purchase or repeated change.

How do I buy credits for the service where my task paused?

  1. Use Get more AI credits and choose an available pack for the selected hosting service.
  2. Review the pack amount, currency and any tax, then choose an available account-balance, saved-card or invoice payment route.
  3. An invoice records the purchase. Wait for its Paid status and confirm the resulting service credit balance before resuming the task.

Your WHMCS account funds and AI credits are separate balances. If a saved-card charge fails, use the existing unpaid invoice or another offered payment method rather than creating duplicate purchases. Buying credits does not remove a service permission limit or guarantee that a suspended AI operation can proceed.
